Flav done fucked up the deal with VH1!

Six months ago, Flavor Flav looked like he had just made the comeback of the century. But since then, his star seems to have fizzled a bit. According to a VH1 insider, it's because Flav bargained himself out of a job at the cable network.
A source over at the network told MediaTakeOut.com that Flav tried to negotiate a huge payday for himself. The insider explains, "[Flav] was asking for millions of dollars for each season of Flavor Of Love - that was way more than we were willing to spend ... We ended up going with I Love New York instead and, needless to say, it worked out pretty well for us."
I Love New York, the spin-off of Flavor Of Love debuted with the highest ratings of any show in VH1 history. The debut show garnered more than 4.4 million viewers - 33% more viewers than the debut of Flavor Of Love 2.
And Flav may have realized his mistake. Because now, according to our snitch, Flav's demands have come down significantly. Tells our insider, "I hear that [Flav] has now come back to reality with the negotiations ... But with the success of Charm School and a couple of other projects we have coming up, [VH1] may not need him. He may have missed the boat."
